Day/Night Environment Concepts

A Day (and if I have enough time) night concept of the environment. While this doesn't show the final idea, it shows a lot of the pieces that I would like to include in the environment, not pictured is a dome similar to this:

That I would like to include somewhere in the final piece, either as a whole or half buried in sand.

Things I specifically want to add are parts of tattered cloth, the semi broken rings in the sand, glass (colored or clear), and the sandstorm during the day (pictured in the day concept).
